Contact Print
AGITATE’s final exhibition at 6 William Street, Christina worked as project manager to produce a group show platforming un-exhibited photographers selected from an online Open Call. This was free to enter, and in a bid to remove common barriers to participation in exhibiting work, the prints were all produced by AGITATE courtesy of A&M Imaging. Participants were then provided with their print after the exhibition, and a digital documentation for use in future CVs, portfolios, etc.
This event was made possible due to the Fair Saturday Edinburgh Community Engagement Fund, and was kindly supported by A&M Imaging.
Bringing together 50 participating artists, CONTACT PRINT showcased new ways of seeing, with work from unseen artists across Scotland. Curated by the AGITATE team, this exhibition was installed in a salon-style to mix various styles and introduce interesting pairings, featuring a range of themes and styles. The exhibition was intended to illustrate the diversity of photographic talented currently unrepresented in the exhibited photography world, and doubled as a social and networking opportunity for both the wider photo-curious public and those participating. The event maintained a focus on inspiring new connections and building creative confidence.
This exhibition took place on Fair Saturday (Saturday 30 November) 2024. Christina was responsible for sourcing funding, file handling, liaising with artists, event promotion, production and evaluation.
